Gusseted Woven Bags for Better Stacking & Volume

Gusseted bags open on the sides when filled, so they hold more and sit as a stable rectangle on pallets. Mills and grain traders use them to improve warehouse space and truck loads.

Available laminated or unlaminated with custom print. See rice and paddy bags in Madurai if food packing is the main use.

What the side gusset changes on the pallet

A tube sack rounds when filled. A gusset opens into a rectangle, so mills buy cube, not just fabric.

More cube Filled volume

Side panels open so rice and pulses occupy the bag instead of rounding it.

Flatter stack Pallet profile

Rectangular loads sit tighter in godowns and on trucks.

10–15 cm Typical gusset

Width is custom; this is a common starting range for grain SKUs.

  • Print on front, back, and gusset panels
  • Laminated or unlaminated faces on the same geometry
  • Better warehouse cube than a plain tube of the same cut length

Gusset geometry we quote

Send current bag size and target kg; we will propose gusset width rather than copying a tube sack.

Construction Side gussets with a stable base when filled
Gusset width Custom, often around 10–15 cm
Fabric GSM 2 gm to 5 gm
Lamination BOPP or unlaminated
Printing Up to 8 colors
Capacity 10 kg to 50 kg+
Closure Heat-cut or hemmed top
Material 100% virgin PP

SKUs that pay for the extra panel

Specify gussets when stack height and truck cube matter more than the cheapest tube.

Rice & pulses

Stable 25–50 kg stacks for mill warehouses that cube every pallet.

Flour & sugar

Rectangular filled shape reduces lean on high stacks.

Feed & fertilizer

Same geometry with laminated or plain faces depending on moisture.
